2-Year Limited Warranty

BLACK+DECKER (U.S.) Inc. warranties to the original end-user purchaser that BLACK+DECKER products stating they come with a two-year limited warranty will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years following the date of purchase, or date of delivery of the product (whichever date is later), provided that the product is used in a home environment. Because BLACK+DECKER cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this limited warranty applies only if this product was
purchased from BLACK+DECKER or a BLACK+DECKER authorized seller, unless otherwise prohibited by law. BLACK+DECKER reserves the right to reject warranty claims for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites.

This limited warranty does not cover failures due to normal wear, abuse, accidental damage or when the damage or defect has been caused by repairs made or attempted by anyone other than BLACK+DECKER and its Authorized Service Centers. A defective product meeting the warranty conditions set forth herein will be replaced or repaired at no charge in either of two ways:

  • The first, which will result in exchanges only, is to return the product to the authorized retailer from whom it was purchased (provided that the store is a participating retailer). Returns should be made within the time period of the retailer's policy for exchanges. Proof of purchase showing when and where you purchased the product may be required. Please check with the retailer for its specific return policy regarding time limits for returns or exchanges.
  • The second option is to take or send the product (prepaid) to a BLACK+DECKER owned or authorized Service Center for repair or replacement at BLACK+DECKER’s option. Proof of purchase showing when and where you purchased the product may be required. BLACK+DECKER owned and authorized service centers are listed online at blackanddecker.com.

intended for commercial use, and accordingly, such commercial use of this product will void this warranty.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. BLACK+DECKER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

SOME STATES AND COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS,
AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE AND COUNTRY TO COUNTRY.

**When indicated on select product, Customer may claim an additional 3-year limited warranty in accordance with the same terms and conditions, subject to the following.  To claim this additional 3-year limited warranty customer must register the product on blackanddecker.com, with proof of purchase, within 30-days of
purchase, or date of delivery (whichever is later).  Failure to complete product registration within the aforementioned required time does not limit entitlement or diminish customer’s rights under Black + Decker’s standard 2-year limited warranty.  There is no cost to register your product or obtain these benefits.  Additional 3-year limited warranty does not apply to any battery, charger or accessory.
