Where should I plant my starter garden or place composter?

Assess the land you have and identify areas were too much water or shade doesn’t linger. Look closely at places where you already see strong growth of grass or trees, or where you see minimal growth. You may want easy access to a water source. For a composter, you may want to locate it closer to your garden or an area that you may typically mulch.
