Does the job I require!

The battiers hold up well. Trimmed thick grass an it keeped its power but used up most of the battery power. Switched them out and finished the job. great for around the house.

Pros: Light weight and well balanced. NO GAS!!

Cons: The handle comes unlocked.

Very nice trimmer

This is my first electric trimmer always used gas. My gas one the fuel line had a leak so I had to order parts. Borrowed a friend's same make and model and was very impressed how light and easy to use it was.
With the lithium ion battery I can leave one plugged in all the time.
Found one on sale at Menard's with the 2 batteries and it became an early Father's Day present (now the wife can use it too) :)

Pros: Light-weight, more then enough power for size, 2 lithium ion batteries

Cons: Hard to get the stupid tape off the line cutter

MY, Wonderful Toy!!

I wasnot sure what I was heading to buy as l do not have year round grass. Lawn mower died end of past summer.....My brother would come over to do weed eating, NEVER my thing AS didn't care for the gadgets!Went for mower but looked at Weed Eaters as I started to play around with them a LITTLE ,end of past yr & was talked into this one. Once home figured I spent too much on something that I'd regret verses a lawn mower. WRONG!!! I have never had our yard (bout an acre)look SO good, SO often! I have never enjoyed playing with something that is very effortless and does such a complete job on whatever I'm attempting. I am so very Happy with this wonderful product, I WILL cry when it quits working. This is second year, have 3 batteries, quick charger, but after 3 batteries, if not thick & intense, I'm ready for break. A good couple hrs worth. I am 110% pleased with this product. A 58 yr old mom who has never let her son do the work, as I called Dibbs.
Thank You Black & Decker!!! Thank you so very much as the years wk is a job I look so forward to!!

Pros: Light weight, line advances by self, ALWAYS!, batteries quick charge, light weight as carry in pack when covering long distance, has really cut through some heavy duty vines, grasses & whatnot!!

Cons: I have to stop as it seems to get dark too fast when I'm out playing with my wonderful weed eater!!!!

First time with electric trimmer..def not a gas trimmer

Good thing this comes with 2 batteries. Drained both of them trying to edge my front and back yards. About a 15-20 min job it used both batteries. Moved over from using a gas trimmer to this electric one. Much less powerful and harder to edge due to its lack of power vs gas. Maybe all electrics are like this, I'm not sure, but I think I made a mistake moving to electric.

Pros: No cord or gas to worry about

Cons: Batteries lasted about 10 minutes each. Very disappointing. Also not a very strong trimmer.
