It works as stated. Very noisy.
Plastic parts covering cutters broke not long after warranty (1 year) went out. Had to buy another shredder. Bought different brand. We use the shredder in our home office, which is not very busy, since I am retired. Just personal items. Dissatisfied with product and warranty.
Pros:
It worked as it was supposed to, and did a very good job, though very noisy.
Cons:
Quality of plastic components. Was able to use it for only just over a year. Not acceptable, and not up to my experience and knowledge of Black and Decker products. I have many, and very few problems. Good tools!
