    I first purchased this product over the weekend. The trimmer is light wait and easy to manuever. When I got this unit, it seemed very valuable to me to cut my hedges. (All 20 of them). After using this, was overall elated. It cut thru my hedges like a knife to butter. I was gravely disappointed at the battery life. After 18 hours of charging and to get only 1 hour of trimming, made me a little IRATE. The other disappointment was the charging light. The light stayed red the whole time. After looking at the instruction, it said a green light would go off. I didnt even have a green light nor did i know when or if the battery was completely charged. Overall, its a good trimmer and i had to get an extra battery to continue.
    Pros:

    Cordless. Length. Lightweight. NO Vibrations. Easy of use. Very sharp blades. Speed of cutting action.

    Cons:

    Battery Charger. Battery life. For a LARGE battery, it should get more than 30 mins - 1 hours of usage after charging for 11+ hours. The battery life should be at least 2 - 3 hours especially if you have a large area to cut. If you dont finish your job that day, you will have to wait until the next because of the time length to charge the battery.

    I have owned this product for about a Year and it's cutting capacity is great, We have in Central Virginia a little woodland bush that grows a couple feet and this cutter makes fast work if these, Only draw back is bending to cut, That is why I have ordered one with the variable angle handle. This device makes fast work of shrubs and small trees and limbs. Battery life is twice the weed eater time.
    Pros:

    Everything!!!

    Cons:

    Having to bend down to cut ground level, But that is not a fault of the Machine, Only the operator!!

    The cordless trimmer came in handy at our other property. We had no access to electrical power. The trimmer performed well. I would highly recommend this product.

    I have owned a B&D corded trimmer for several years and been very happy with it. I bought the 18v cordless trimmer, blower and cultivator because I got tired of dragging the extension cord all over. I'm very happy with all of the tools. The trimmer works for about 90% of my of my needs. Sometimes when I'm doing a lot of trimming I will take out the old corded trimmer so I don't run out of battery life.

    After using corded hedge trimmers for years the ability to move around hedges and shrubs without the hassle of pulling an extension cord behind is liberating. This trimmer has enough power for most shrubs trimming, from boxwood to holley, with ease. I thought at first the battery might add weight but the light weight construction of this tool makes up for the battery weight. With a newly charged battery I have been able to trim for more than a half hour. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and just think, I haven't cut an extension cord while trimming in months.
    Pros:

    Freedom from extension cord.

    Cons:

    Batteries are costly.
