2 Year Limited Warranty

Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. warrants this product for two (2) years against any defects in material or workmanship. The defective product will be replaced or repaired at no charge in either of two ways.

The first, which will result in exchanges only, is to return the product to the retailer from whom it was purchased (provided that the store is a participating retailer). Returns should be made within the time period of the retailer?s policy for exchanges (usually 30 to 90 days after the sale). Proof of purchase may be required. Please check with the retailer for their specific return policy regarding returns that are beyond the time set for exchanges.

The second option is to take or send the product (prepaid) to a Black & Decker owned or authorized Service Center for repair or replacement at our option. Proof of purchase may be required.     amazing vac very good blower
             
    First use was a shocker! The vac feature sucked up leaves so well it was almost scary at high speed and mulched very well (Not 16:1 prob 10/12:1). At low speed the mulching was not as good so I learned to operate it on high with the nozzle held up higher away from the leaves to keep it from sucking up dirt and stones. The blower met my expectations and suited my needs. I read the reviews about the substandard bag but I dont see a problem if care is taken when operating and emptying the bag.
    Pros:

    The vac operation and mulching

    Cons:

    The bag strap was not adjustable and made the bag somewhat awkward to carry during operation. The bag zipper seemed ok but did not unzip enough of the bag to make emptying as easy as it could be when overstuffed! :)

    Packaging is great, metal blade out does my older unit. The larger vacuum tube is much better. As a blower, thr added horse power makes short work of the leaves. I have to use thr paper disposalbags for yard trash. I able to get 2.5 bag loads per each paper recycle bag. Good going B+D.
    Pros:

    The Metal Blade, and Added horse power. Larger vac tubes.

    Cons:

    The bag strap is too thin. and the connector on the bag is very tight to the motor housing.the old twist on would work better here.

    Pros:

    The bagger option works very well.

    Cons:

    You need to have a fence stretcher to remove the blower assembly from the head in order to use the bagger. Secondly, the 240 MPH I feel is overstated. My old cheapy blower had more power, but, to be fair, I did not try the Leaf Blaster attachment.

    It is great for blowing wet leaves,dry leaves in flower beds without disrupting the bedding. I use it for clearing patio debris all summer long and living on a corner it is great to blow the leaves into the street.
    Pros:

    It's 2 speed control is great and very functional.I have had to get (2) motors sent to me because of using the vaccum. The fuse seems to blow easily and would be better off if the fuse was accessible to change by the owners. This way a new housing system would not have to be sent.

    Cons:

    The vaccuming is very powerful, but I have had to replace the housing unit twice, due to a blown fuse in the system. Change the ability for the homeowner to replace the fuse..Customer service was outstanding sending a new unit..

    It works great but only last a year. Warranty is poor. I was told to take to a service center that was 50 miles away. The cost of gas would have been more than the price for the unit.(one trip to drop off and another to pick up--about 6 hours travel time!)

    The vacuum and blower are powerful and the vacuum picks up and mulchs very well. The vacuum bag is horrible. I've had the machine for a little over a year and am on my 4th bag. The zipper keeps breaking/ripping in the same place and is not repairable

    The power of the vacuum and it is easy to connect the parts

    Cons:

    The vacuum bag zipper breaks quickly - may as well advertize it as a disposable bag. Shipping of a replacement bag is as expensive as the bag.

    Had it for 2 years now and is the best Blower/Vac I ever had. The blower is powerful, but I'm mostly impressed with the Vac feature. It has strong suction and great chipping ability with the metal impeller. Has never failed me once.

    Great chipping with the metal impeller, easy to switch from blower to vac.

    Cons:

    Bagger started tearing after two years.

    bought this and put it together then i thought somethings wrong, then stood side by side with my old leafhog and the vac. tube on the the scraper bar is on top when assembled completely backward from old design, which will allow the vac tube to wear quicker when picking up leafs on a hard surface. will return this now, could be more consistant in their design

    This blower/vac is great. Far exceeded my expectations for an electric model. Vac had no problems with wet leaves or small twigs at all. Easy conversion to blower.
    Pros:

    Great vacuum power. Great blowing power. Easy to use.

    Cons:

    Wish the bag was a tad bit bigger as it fills up pretty quickly.
