Its ease of use.
The battery does not last as long as I thought it would.
It has staying power and is dependable so far.
The quick die act, but this is true with all Lithium batteries. I have four others of a different manufacture and their performance is the same.
It is very quiet and can adjust the length of the trimmer for myself and my two sons. Wife likes the idea of the trimmer guard so I won't tear up the trees and flowers as she puts it. Also lighter in weight and no worries about spilling gas on the ground.
Didn't come with an extra battery as I saw with another product. Would prefer that the feeder line line head was with a single string feed instead of the feeder string type. I've had the worse luck with the "bump head" string feeder type. My wife prefers to use our old gas "bush trimmer" that is on wheels since she can feed single string lines into the head instead of having to "wind" the string around the head. She says if B&D can do that instead it would be perfect.
When it works, for whatever amount of time it chooses to...its WONDERFUL.
It will not charge. It will not HOLD a charge. It was never dropped. This is the 2nd battery that has had the same problem OR, its the charger. I can't tell BUT, read the other reviews and see, B&D doesn't even have them 'in stock' any more....
Sorry B&D,...You have BIG TIME battery and/or charger problems with this unit.....and if you can get them fixed, you'll get a 5 star rating from me but if not, or you blow it off, one star or LESS.
Convinience of not having electric cords. Worked well last season.
Battery replacement cost is almost as high as the price of new trimmer!
I don't have to stop and gas it up and reload the string all the time. It is easy to handle and does a good job.
The battery does not run the length of time given in the brochure, on the packaging or the display shown at the store where I purchased this item.
The tools work fine.
One of the batteries went out and Black and Decker says they do not have any in inventory to replace it.
