1.Install sink strainer in each sink drain opening. Apply 1/4" bead of plumber's putty around bottom of flange. Insert strainer into drain opening. Place rubber and fiber washers over neck of strainer. Screw locknut onto neck and tighten with channel-type pliers.
2. Attach tailpiece to strainer. Place insert washer in flared end of tailpiece, then attach tailpiece by screwing a slip nut onto sink strainer. If necessary, tailpiece can be cut to fit with a hacksaw.
3. On sinks with two basins, use a continuous waste-T-fitting to join the tailpieces. Attach the fitting with slip washers and nuts. Beveled side of washers faces threaded portion of pipes.
4. Attach the trap arm to the drain stubout, using a slip nut and washer. Beveled side of washer should face threaded drain stubout. If necessary, trap arm can be cut to fit with a hacksaw.
5. Attach trap bend to trap arm, using slip nuts and washers. Beveled side of washers should face trap bend. Tighten all nuts with channel-type pliers.
